2 week class: Tuesday 4/9 & 4/16

Silver metal clay is the perfect medium for creating jewelry: the tools are inexpensive, the clay is easy to use, and it can be torch fired, which means you can fire your jewelry at home without a kiln. In this course we will cover all the basics of torch firing fine silver clay. Students will learn multiple techniques to create a variety of pieces of their own design and will be prepared to continue to working in silver clay long after the class is done. $50 materials fee (included in class fee) includes metal clay for the first class. Additional metal clay may be purchased during class for the subsequent weeks.
